PRELUDE 2012 AUDITIONS:
Auditions will be held in New York City on December 16, 17 and 18, 2011, January 13, 14, 15 and February 10, 11, and 12, 2012. Other auditions may be mutually arranged. Audition by studio quality DVD is possible, however, final acceptance into the program will be contingent upon a live audition in New York City before May 15, 2012. DVDs must be received by March 1, 2012 in order to be considered.

The two complete operas being considered are Mozart’s Così fan tutte and Verdi’s Falstaff. (Others are possible) Each opera will have two performances (double-cast).

ALUMNI NEWS:
Noah Stewart, a 2005 participant who appeared as Nemorino in Donizetti's L'Elisir d'amore with us, has been signed as a new artist for Decca/Universal records. His first album will be released in early 2012. To hear some advance sound clips click here. The Album will feature Opera Arias, Spirituals and other great tunes — something for everyone. The first video will be released soon after.
